Geremy and Troy’s wedding ceremony took place at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates and their reception was held at The Edison Restaurant. They have to be one of the most fun couple’s I’ve photographed. They were up for anything and looked gorgeous in every picture. Their bridal party even got into the photos. I love the shot we got of the groomsmen under Geremy’s veil. It wasn’t planned but when I saw one of the groomsmen get caught up in her veil we just had to do it.

The following “Coastal Wedding” was provided by the talented Stephen Dohring from Tampa, FL. The Gulf of Mexico provided the perfect setting for Jennifer and Chris.
Jennifer and Chris reserved a private residence on the Gulf of Mexico for their intimate wedding with their children and closest family and friends. Jennifer had three kids under 5 dressed and ready to go, coordinated all the vendors, and threw on a wedding dress to transform into a stunning bride…all without the slightest hint of stress. Some of the best at what they do were on hand to make this a special day. Cari from Kyle Lynn hair, Chives catering, Lori Larson Florist, and steel drum virtuoso Ephraim from Rhythm trail.
This week we are featuring a “Coastal Wedding” from the talented Allison Reisz! The 18th green of Harbor Town Golf Club provided the perfect setting for Erica and Louis, as Photographer Allison Reisz describes the day.
We first met Erica and Louis when they came down to Savannah in March, for their engagement session. We had such a great time together, it felt like we had been friends for years…
Well this weekend, was finally their Big Day in Hilton Head, at the beautiful Sea Pines Resort.
The wedding day started out, with Erica and Louis anxiously getting ready and anticipating the first time they would see each another, that day. After finally seeing Louis, I swear Erica could not stop smiling! She was absolutely glowing as she made her way down the aisle to finally say “I do” to her best friend, Louis. Erica totally has one of those smiles, that is so genuine and ecstatically happy, that you can do nothing but smile yourself.
Erica and Louis exchanged their vows, in front of friends and family, on the 18th green of the Harbor Town Golf Course. As ceremony concluded, a beautiful sunset filled the sky and water, and guest were escorted to the Sea Pines Plantation Club. Once at the Plantation Club, the celebration started and didn’t stop till the wee hours of the night…
Erica being a huge perfectionist, at one point during the night, said to me “Allison, every little detail turned out so perfect!”, with her biggest “Erica smile” on her face. As it so happened, Louis was looking on at this moment, and his facial expression said it all. That in his eyes, Erica is his perfect!
Congratulations you two!!!

Spectacular is an understatement for this wedding. Saying the Sea Island Resort is gorgeous doesn’t do it justice. And I’d say Sara, Lawrence and their beautiful families inspired us to film some amazing moments, and we had an absolute blast all week.
As a destination wedding for Sara & Lawrence, and everyone else from Texas, they did their best to party it up, enjoy Georgia’s coast, and take in all the emotions that come with marrying your best friend and being surrounded by all your loved ones. They didn’t even let the rain slow them down. The rainbow you’ll notice in the highlights film happened right before their ceremony began. How cool is that?!
The wonderful ladies at The Cloister did an amazing job creating a magical setting for the reception, and we were all entertained by Johnny White’s band through the night. I wanted to say a quick note on where I got the inspiration to edit the beginning of the video the way I did. Sara and Lawrence chose to have a “First Look” before the ceremony, and it was very cool to see the anticipation build on Sara’s face. They honestly didn’t know there were photographers/videographers there. They were in their own little world. Well fast forward to the ceremony, and when I hear the pastor’s message on marriage by incorporating the “Velveteen Rabbit”, I immediately go back to Sara and Lawrence’s moment together before the busyness of the day began. The message was clear and you could see in Sara and Lawrence’s eyes that they’ll still look at each other the same way 50 years later, even if they are ragged ‘ol “skinhorses”.
The party was incredibly fun, and their exit with fireworks and sparklers to send them off on a yacht was a perfect ending to the perfect week in Paradise. Enjoy the film, and leave some comments! A Bald Head Island beach house provided the perfect backdrop for Danny and Beth, as Photographer Lauren Millard describes the day.
Danny and Beth are adorable and we had a wonderful time at their beautiful Bald Head Island wedding!
We had too much fun roaming around the island on our six person golf cart and hanging out with Danny and Beth. These two were so wonderful together and graciously put up with the “paparazzi” that followed them around all day.
Beth had such an ease about her the whole day, even in stressful situations. Beth’s mom had a bad fall early on in the day while decorating and had to rush off the island to get stitches. However, this incident didn’t put a damper on the day or Beth’s attitude at all, and Beth’s mom was back in plenty of time for the wedding. It was so lovely to be around such positive, laid back people for the day.

The details of the day were so cute! There were parasols, pashmina scarves, and fans for the guests-all in shades of blue.
